Our small team in Baton Rouge is running the Clean Streets Saturday and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 252 neighbors in Baton Rouge. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you so much.

  • Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.

    • Keep going. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.

You're not alone. Looking forward to the next update. After 24 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
