Join the Clean Streets Saturday: Anand needs helpers on Monday
Our small team in Thiruvananthapuram is running the Clean Streets Saturday and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇮🇳 Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India1,495 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 250 neighbors in Thiruvananthapuram. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

shared this with my family. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Birmingham
Thinking of you, Anand. Great idea, hope you get there. We're a small family in Lahore but we're thinking of you.
thinking of you. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Thinking of Thiruvananthapuram!
Wishing you peace, Anand. Hope this works out for you. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Anand. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
keep going, Anand. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
