Join the Clean Streets Saturday: Abebe needs helpers on Friday
Give a few hours to the Clean Streets Saturday - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 438 neighbors in Jimma. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rooting for you, Abebe. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Wish I lived closer to Coyoacán so I could bring a meal.
