Jocelyn needs a guide into accounting - monthly calls
A mentor in accounting could help Jocelyn with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.
🇺🇸 United States202 views
I have worked as a factory operator for 11 years, and I'm 30. After the factory closing, I decided to move into accounting, and I have completed a bootcamp.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
- effort
- 45 minutes a month
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- industry experience, patience, honest feedback

Sending good thoughts. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of San Diego.
Stay strong, Jocelyn. Small businesses are the heart of San Diego. Hope you're open again soon. We're a small family in Kathmandu but we're thinking of you. Blessings!

Hope it all works out, Jocelyn. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Nashik.
you're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of San Diego.
