Jennifer needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in London
Jennifer drives for a living in London, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $540
• Labor charges: $240
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $125
• Towing and inspection: $95
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Quick update: $485 raised so far (49%). the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
