Jacaranda Park needs a covered market stall space - Kaito's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Osaka are raising $2,150 for a covered market stall space at Jacaranda Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,150.
It will serve about 162 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Materials: $1,350
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $310
• Tools hire and delivery: $260
