Iván's multiple myeloma treatment fund
Iván is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Iván was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at Ciudad de México Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Iván is 46, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ciudad de México Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $750
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,500
• Transport to Ciudad de México Regional Medical Center: $150
