Is there an electrician who can donate a few hours in Eldoret?
Mwende has a leaking gas line, and can't afford a licensed electrician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In April an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $470 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $30.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending good thoughts, Mwende. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Moscow.
