Is there a roofer who can donate a few hours in San Francisco?
A roofer is needed to repair faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning at the home of a family of 5.

In May an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $940 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed roofer who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $175.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a roofer and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you, Oliver. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps.
Sending love, Oliver. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of San Francisco.
Good luck. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Arlington.
