Is there a plumber who can donate a few hours in Toronto?
A plumber is needed to repair a septic backup at the home of a family of 5.

In July an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,750 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed plumber who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $175.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a plumber and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Best of luck, Alyssa. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'll check back for the next update.
Hope things get better soon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Alyssa. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care
Take care, Alyssa. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update.
I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Kumasi
