In June an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $145 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $40. The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Manchester.

    • You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.

      • Wishing you the best. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Put this on a community board in Latina this morning

Sending strength, Ronke. Shared this with my family. After 8 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Jakarta.
