Rashmi speaks Somali and very little English. A volunteer to come to one appointment on Tuesday would help us all understand each other.

I'm Komal. Rashmi has just arrived in the country, and speaks Somali but little English. We have a pre-op meeting on Tuesday in Pune and the hospital's interpreter service has a long wait.
Someone who could come for about an hour, translate what the doctor says and what Rashmi wants to ask, would make this so much less frightening. We can pay for your transport and a coffee.
