Katherine speaks Punjabi and very little English. A volunteer to come to one appointment on Friday would help us all understand each other.

I'm Elijah. Katherine is an elderly neighbor of mine, and speaks Punjabi but little English. We have a scan on Friday in Ottawa and the hospital's interpreter service has a long wait.
Someone who could come for about an hour, translate what the doctor says and what Katherine wants to ask, would make this so much less frightening. We can pay for your transport and a coffee.
