Diana lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Tema Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Diana could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $100 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $35 • First-year servicing plan: $45 • Fitting and training sessions: $20 Glad we found this place.
