Independence for Agus: stair-climbing aid
Agus needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $700.

Agus lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Jakarta Barat Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Agus could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $700 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $600
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $30
