HVAC technician needed urgently: Wayne's home isn't safe
A HVAC technician is needed to repair faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning at the home of a family of 3.

In January an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $400 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $45.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
