HVAC technician needed urgently: Tharindu's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed HVAC technician in Negombo to donate time or work at cost.

In March an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $230 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $50.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck, Tharindu. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. All the best.
Good luck, Tharindu. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Take care, Tharindu. Shared it with a few friends. Take care.
