HVAC technician needed urgently: Taylor's home isn't safe
Taylor has a failed boiler with no heating, and can't afford a licensed HVAC technician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a failed boiler with no heating. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,400 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $230.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Glad we found this place.

Best of luck, Taylor. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Bakersfield!
Thinking of you, Taylor. This could happen to any of us.
Wishing you peace. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
