Hudson needs a guide into UX design - monthly calls
Seeking an experienced UX design professional for guidance on the transition from farmer.
🇺🇸 United States648 views
I have worked as a farmer for 9 years, and I'm 44. After years of wanting more, I decided to move into UX design, and I have completed a part-time diploma.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you. Shared this with my family. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Rotterdam.
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Birmingham.
Good luck, Hudson. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 18 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Best of luck, Hudson. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
