A mentor in teaching could help Hudson with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a farmer for 8 years, and I'm 55. After being laid off, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a part-time diploma. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my interview answers, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for four months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
