My daughter Leila has been accepted for treatment at the Saint-Étienne Cancer Centre in Saint-Étienne, starting on Monday in June. We live 526 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Leila and me. We can contribute $65 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Leila will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Sent it to 13 people at work. Love from Bandung

    • So sorry you're going through this, Saeed. Wishing Leila a smooth procedure and a full recovery. After 6 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.

      • take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
