Hosting wanted: Mercy travelling with Bea to Manila for treatment

My sister Bea has been accepted for treatment at Manila Children's Hospital in Manila, starting on Sunday in February. We live 330 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Bea and me. We can contribute $25 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Bea will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Keep going. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. It's not much but it's yours. Take care!

        • Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Manila.

          • sending love, Mercy. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
