John is coming to the Parramatta Cancer Centre for 5 weeks of treatment and the family needs somewhere affordable to stay.

My father John has been accepted for treatment at the Parramatta Cancer Centre in Parramatta, starting on Saturday in September. We live 326 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: John and me. We can contribute $110 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. John will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
