Hosting wanted: Komal travelling with Janhavi to Mumbai for treatment
Looking for a host or low-cost room within 30 minutes of Mumbai University Hospital.
🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India557 views
My sister Janhavi has been accepted for treatment at Mumbai University Hospital in Mumbai, starting on Wednesday in August. We live 580 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Janhavi and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Janhavi will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
- effort
- 3–6 weeks
- format
- In person in Mumbai
- skills
- a spare room near the hospital

So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Kilkenny
Keep going, Komal. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Varanasi this morning. Take care.
