Hosting wanted: Kayla travelling with Leighton to Half-Way Tree for treatment
A family from a town in the north needs lodging in Half-Way Tree while a child is treated.

My husband Leighton has been accepted for treatment at Half-Way Tree Children's Hospital in Half-Way Tree, starting on Wednesday in August. We live 462 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Leighton and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Leighton will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
