My husband Elias has been accepted for treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, starting on Tuesday in March. We live 478 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Elias and me. We can contribute $170 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Elias will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I hope life is good to you.

  • Thinking of you and your family. Get well soon. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Seattle!

    • Good luck, Ian. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My neighbor in San Nicolás de los Garza donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Seattle.

      • Wishing you peace, Ian. This could happen to any of us. Take care.

        • Hang in there. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Please keep us posted
