My husband Aarón has been accepted for treatment at Envigado University Hospital in Envigado, starting on Tuesday in October. We live 376 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Aarón and me. We can contribute $25 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Aarón will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.

    • Rooting for you, Esperanza. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Tehuacán.

      • Take care, Esperanza. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Nagoya so I could bring a meal.

Stay strong, Esperanza. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
