My son Paul has been accepted for treatment at Augsburg Children's Hospital in Augsburg, starting on Friday in September. We live 400 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Paul and me. We can contribute $60 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Paul will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Glad we found this place.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Christina. Wishing Paul a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Put this on a community board in Kyiv this morning. Greetings from Kyiv.

    • Hope it all works out, Christina. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from San Antonio.

      • Stay strong, Christina. Looking forward to the next update. Blessings.

        • Hope it all works out. Looking forward to the next update. After 21 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything

          • sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings
