Kai can't afford the care He needs after a fall and hip fracture; we're asking for $5,300.

I'm caring for my father, who's 79. After a fall and hip fracture Kai can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kai desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Kai worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,300 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $4,200
• Medication and prescriptions: $350
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $470
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $280
