Home care fund for Damilola in Nsukka
Damilola, 74, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $400 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 74. After worsening Parkinson's disease Damilola can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Damilola desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Damilola worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $400 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $35
• Part-time carer (six months): $310
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55
