Zoe is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at Dallas University, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,350.
The registrar has said Zoe can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Zoe has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Zoe would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Zoe isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Dallas University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
