Help Vivaan restart a sewing studio in Madurai after a long illness and repossession
A sewing studio in Madurai needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after a long illness and repossession.

For twelve years I have run a sewing studio in Madurai. In August, a long illness and repossession took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric: $80
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $510
• Working capital for the first month: $60
Thanks for being kind about this.

Stay strong, Vivaan. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care.
thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 5 people at work. All the best.
Sending love. Small businesses are the heart of Madurai. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
