Víctor was diagnosed with kidney cancer in September. The oncology team at León Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Víctor is 40, worked as a primary school teacher until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to León Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,200
• Household costs while unable to work: $690
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $145
• Transport to León Regional Medical Center: $315
