Help Vangelis lay Apostolos to rest with dignity in Athens
Apostolos passed away on 21 September; we're raising $950 for a respectful funeral in Athens.

Apostolos, my grandfather, passed away on 21 September after a stroke. He was 87 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Apostolos to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $950 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $710
• Transport of the deceased: $90
• Memorial gathering for the family: $150
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Thinking of you, Vangelis. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
