Erica, my wife, passed away on 13 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 67 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 23 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Erica to have a dignified farewell.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $220
• Transport of the deceased: $40
