Help Tyler patch the roof before winter
Tyler, a widowed grandmother, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Ottawa.

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Ottawa. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,450, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

rooting for you. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Hope it all works out, Tyler. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care
