Adalynn, my sister, passed away on 28 October after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 26 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Adalynn to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,450
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,050
• Transport of the deceased: $400
• Memorial gathering for the family: $300
