Help Tejal with a gas fitter's skills: a septic backup
A gas fitter is needed to repair a septic backup at the home of a family of 3.

In May an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $300 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $40.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Rooting for you, Tejal. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Please keep us posted. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Tejal. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Rooting for you, Tejal. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
Take care, Tejal. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted.
Best of luck, Tejal. This could happen to any of us. I hope July is when things finally get easier. All the best
