Help Taras keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Taras runs a volunteer pantry feeding 74 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 74 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 47% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bergamo market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $610
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $380
• Baby formula and diapers: $390
• Refrigeration and electricity: $120
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
