Swapna was diagnosed with kidney cancer in October. The oncology team at Pune University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Swapna is 56, worked as a construction supervisor until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Pune University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

Sure. The biggest one is chemotherapy and medication not covered, $900. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
