Huda, my grandmother, passed away on 19 September after a short illness. She was 48 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 1 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Huda to have a dignified farewell.
