Help Soledad restart a laundry service in Tuxtla Gutiérrez after floodwater
Soledad lost two washing machines and a dryer to floodwater and needs $1,000 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. In July, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $105
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $760
• Shop repairs and licensing: $135
With deep gratitude,
Soledad

Sending good thoughts. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Please keep us posted. Take care
Wishing you peace, Soledad. Small businesses are the heart of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Hope you're open again soon. Sent it to 21 people at work.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Hope it all works out, Soledad. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Greetings from Sukkur
So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
