Help Slamet patch the roof before the monsoon
The roof at Slamet's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a single mother of three living in Jakarta. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $740, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Praying for you. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Jakarta.
Wishing you the best, Slamet. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Gliwice.
