Help Si-woo patch the roof before the autumn rains
Could you spare two Saturdays to help repair a leaking roof in Jacksonville?

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Jacksonville. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,000, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thanks for sharing this, Si-woo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
wishing you peace. Hope this works out for you. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Yogyakarta.
Best of luck, Si-woo. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
You're not alone, Si-woo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Quetta.
Wishing you the best, Si-woo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
