Help Rubén restart a laundry service in Charlotte after a break-in
A laundry service in Charlotte needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a break-in.
🇺🇸 Charlotte, North Carolina, United States3,044 views
For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Charlotte. In January, a break-in took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,150 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $2,750
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $700
• Shop repairs and licensing: $430
• Working capital for the first month: $270
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending strength, Rubén. This could happen to any of us. God bless
Wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Sacramento
wishing you peace, Rubén. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.
