Help Roberto move out of an unsafe apartment this Thursday
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Springfield.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Springfield, and the lease starts on Thursday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Springfield
Thinking of you, Roberto. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Love from Quezon City.
