Help Robert move out of an unsafe apartment this Friday
Moving day on Friday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.
🇺🇸 Springfield, Massachusetts, United States720 views
After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Springfield, and the lease starts on Friday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
