Help Robert finish a nursing degree at San Diego Community College - $1,250 to go
Robert has worked and saved for four years to study a nursing degree; a $1,250 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Robert is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at San Diego Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,250.
The registrar has said Robert can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Robert has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Robert would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Robert isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $175
• Outstanding tuition balance: $960
• Textbooks and materials: $115
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Sending good thoughts, Derek. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Best of luck, Derek. Hope you get there. Thinking of San Diego
Keep going. Shared it with a few friends. Please keep us posted. Love from Sylhet.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Haifa
Rooting for you. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Geelong
So sorry you're going through this, Derek. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care!
