Help Ricardo keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
The Community Pantry pantry in Los Angeles is running low just as demand rises; $2,250 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 15 families, and now we feed 137 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Los Angeles market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,250
• Refrigeration and electricity: $125
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $875
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hang in there. This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 23 people at work. Blessings.
You're not alone, Ricardo. Hope you get there. Thinking of Los Angeles
