Help Rajesh patch the roof before the next storm
The roof at Rajesh's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a single mother of three living in Jodhpur. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $680, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Stay strong, Rajesh. Hope you get there. Thinking of Jodhpur.
Hang in there, Rajesh. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Thinking of you and your family, Rajesh. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
